Selling via social media

Image via Wikipedia

If you are using  social media (aka sales 2.0) to sell, you need to realize this.
-It will change your interactions from 1 way (you to clients) to three way, you to them, them to you, and them to each other.
-You will be managing a community in which people will play multiple roles.  As [...]

Social media for small business

I posted earlier about the attraction of social media tools to the non-profit sector.  Because social media can be faster and cheaper than traditional tools it can sometimes be the best way to get the job done.

We  have been getting a lot of requests from government, association and non-profit organizations  around how  social media could help them.
Like most organizations, they can site examples of social media campaigns, but don’t see a clear fit for themselves.  Moreover, because they are non-profits, they seem a little less sure again of how [...]

Web 2.0 for big business

Image via Wikipedia

Josh Bernioff of Groundswell/Forrester fame has written a post about how web 2.0 companies are making money in big business.  I am re-posting it because clients often ask for a check list of social media tools and how they can be used for various purposes.  This list is similar, although focused on big business.
