When you are big, a little goes a long way

Image via Wikipedia CNN recently announced it would allow people to use their videos in other sites in an attempt to have some of these videos go viral. It’s amazing to me that one little code change and all of a sudden a giant and ever expanding video vault is now out in the open.
As a social media move it’s brilliant. It did not take CNN much effort to make the change which is much more about policy than technology, only to manage it. Now they just have to watch and hopefully exploit its after effects as the videos are out in the web free to roam.
Good move CNN, I am sure more will watch as a result.
