I was in my hotel room last night and an an add came on for Saturn. I tuned it out, but when it ended with “join the conversation” I perked up. It came on again later and I paid attention the second time.

It looks like Saturn is on to social media in a big big way. Their “Imsaturn” site has  the elements of a good social media site so I won’t dissect it here. What I really liked bout the whole thing was this; the words join the conversation.

In that one phrase Saturn said, “hey, this is about us, not me”. If they had said, “come on over to learn more”, or “tell us what you think” they would have tipped their hand that they are just looking for you attention, or conducting some cheap market research. Instead, they said something else. They said “us” and all of a sudden it’s different.

Congratulations Saturn. Well done.
