Zemanta
by PatrickMasonI don’t write about tools often as there are plenty that do and it’s not my focus. But Zemanta, a plug-in that allows you to “dress up” blog posts is a favourite. Today they announced their next release which promises “Zemanta is now personal.”
I have been using Zemanta for virtually every post in this blog since it came out, so those nice related articles, links and tags are all automatically generated for me.
What I noticed in the upgrade right away:
Slicker user interface, better and more suggestions for articles. In addition, Zemanta tells us the following about the upgrade;
- My Friends & Feeds- ability to include your friends and custom feeds to your Zemanta account
- My Flickr - we will now also find pictures in your Flickr account
- Filter - you can filter recommendations to more fine grain the results to your content
Bottom line; If you blog a lot and are looking for a way to improve quality/content with not much effort Zemanta is worth a look.
