Family update
by PatrickMason
I’m always finding new things social media can do. One I did not expect just happened, I caught up on my sister’s health crisis via her blog. She’s 48 and headed into menopause. She had a complication the other day that landed her in emergency, she’s OK now but it sounds scary none the less. Chris is a vet so she is not given to squeamishness, if she gets scared look out. Full details here: The Pill or Mirena : A Greener Tea.
Well there ya go.

Hi, brother,
Since your thoughts are among those I respect ( in fact, perhaps you’ve noticed that many of the things you’ve said have magically reappeared in my writing with no attention to verbal copyright), from a marketer’s perspective, what has social media done in this case? The line “One I did not expect…”. What did you mean?
Perhaps I’m looking too deeply here - you may have just meant ” a new way of catching up with friends and family “.
No need to post these comments. Edit them however you want.
Well, I guess I was simplistically pointing out the fact that your blog has become a way for family to keep up with you now, and a blog is a social media tool. No magic here! Hope you feel better soon Chris.
